Supply Chain Transparency – Vocaloid Fandom Shop
At Vocaloid Fandom Shop, we believe that creativity and fandom should never come at the cost of human rights. We are fully committed to ensuring ethical working conditions throughout our entire supply chain. In line with the California Supply Chain Transparency Act (CA SB657), here’s how we actively work to prevent human trafficking, forced labor, and modern slavery.
1. Verification
We require all of our direct suppliers to undergo:
Annual third-party compliance audits conducted by accredited, independent firms.
Quarterly observation audits focusing on workers' conditions, health & safety, and wage verification.
Before starting any partnership, our suppliers must complete detailed profiles, including information about:
Minimum working age.
Standard weekly hours.
Disciplinary procedures.
Preventive measures against forced labor.
We also provide every supplier with our Vendor Code of Conduct (VCOC), available in multiple languages (English, Chinese, Spanish, Italian, Vietnamese), and require it to be clearly displayed in the factories.
2. Audits
Full audits are conducted annually, semi-announced (within a 10-day window), covering labor conditions, wages, safety, and environmental management.
Unannounced quarterly audits are carried out through direct visual observations.
Worker interviews (one-on-one and group, in local languages) are part of the process to gather honest feedback.
Payroll and attendance records are reviewed to ensure fair wages and legal compliance.
Any non-compliance issues trigger mandatory Corrective Action Plans (CAPs).
Our supply chain team actively participates in audit visits and oversight.
3. Certification
All suppliers must certify that their materials and practices comply with local and international laws prohibiting child labor, forced labor, and discrimination. We share our VCOC not only with direct suppliers but are extending it across all material suppliers to ensure awareness throughout our chain.
4. Internal Accountability
Our core belief:
“Ethics First – Fandom Without Compromise”
We enforce a zero-tolerance policy regarding forced labor or human trafficking.
Any supplier found violating our standards faces immediate termination of the business relationship, regardless of contract terms.
All team members interacting with suppliers are trained in compliance and reporting protocols.
5. Training
Our Compliance and Product Teams receive ongoing training on:
Human trafficking risks in global supply chains.
Identification and response protocols.
This training is mandatory for all new hires involved in supply chain management.
